I saw this last night with a theater full of teenagers and their cell phones. My first trip to the theater since "Grindhouse". Anyway, despite the distractions, it was an OK sequel, but nothing special. If you've seen the first Hostel film, it's pretty much the same film except it's three female travellers instead of guys. You also get a lot of POV from the sickos doing the killing.

Somehow, it's not as disturbing this time out and it's certainly not scary....***except for the scene at the end which is incredibly disgusting and I'm surprised that it passed with an R rating.*** If you've seen the film, you'll know which scene I'm referring to. Anyway, Hostel 2 was strangely entertaining but forgettable at the same time.

Hostel 1 unrated made me sick. I'm guessing we'll see a Hosted 2 UNRATED DVD edition. 2 barf bags will be needed!

I'll catch it on DVD like I did the first one. I'm too old to pay for stuff like this.

I just rented the first one last night.
I thought it was bad.

I thought the first one was great. Very likely will have to wait to DVD to check this one out.

I guess a lot of people are waiting for the DVD. The film opened at a weak #6 at the box office!

Not to thread crap but these type of films are replacing "horror" films which is too bad as it seems more like torture porn.

My work pals actually think this horror porn is more than 1/2 star; while I find most ANY cinema violence to be gratuitous, horrifying and pointless, they are less sensitive than I am. :sigh:

I just don't have any interest in torture/pain movies like that.
I don't wanna spend my time watching that.
