Questions about Garrard TT

Hello, I won a Marantz 2220B plus they threw in a Garrard 82 TT. It looks O.K , but I just received a Dual 1209, I don't know which one to start refurbishing first. any info on these will be helpful. Thanks, Scott.

I can't quite remember how big the platter is on the Garrard.. but the Dual only has the 10 1/2 inch platter (the 1219 has the full size one). The disc support makes a bigger difference than you'd think - so go for the one with the 12 inch platter if you want to listen. If both are similar size, start with the Dual.

Both models have 78rpm, and that's an advantage to some users..
