The Rotel RA-1060 integrated amp was recommended to me today. It is about the max I can go in price (around $600). Does anyone here have any first hand experience with this unit?

I own a Rotel Pre.
It's truly a very nice unit.
Most of Rotel's stuff is excellent for the price.

That's a really good sounding integrated amp for the money. I don't think I ever heard a piece of Rotel gear that was bad. The NAD C372 or C352 are excellent, as well. Might be a bit mellower in the high end than the Rotel.

I own a Rotel RA-412 and it's been serving me very well for 30+ years.
Are you going to use it with your KEF C-10s? I think that will sound pretty good.

This integrated was rated very highly in a review that I read. Apparently its performance was exceptional in its price range.

I would recommend to do a search on the RA-1060 at the Club Rotel Forum (
http://www.htguide.com/forum/forumdisplay.php4?f=20), for more info.
You should be able to find a used RA-1060 for around $400.
