No Sound From My Oppo

This has got me scratching my head.I put a cd in my Oppo 970 tonight and no sound.The cd is playing.Everything is connected.I haven't touched any connections or settings in months.Mute is off.I even unplugged the Oppo from my receiver and connected another cd player to the Oppo's inputs and it works.It played fine about a week ago.Am I missing something really obvious?It's been a rough week.

Did you try unplugging the player and plugging it back in?

Damn.I just unplugged it for a few minutes and plugged it back in and it's working.Never had to do that before with any cd or dvd player.

Maybe it reset itself?

I had to unplug it once after I turned off the power w/ the tray open. The tray closed like it should, but the next time I turned it on, the tray would not open. Once I unplugged it and plugged it back in, it was fine.

Ahhhh, it sounds like unplugging it does "reset" it! :cool:

No problems with mine as of yet...Running VERY smoothly!
