I once saw some but I have no idea where I can get them. I've searched online but I've only found carboard boxes!
Try the Container Store. :)

I have a lot of my LPs in those. They work great.
I was looking for something like these too. Ordered some today. Thanks.

:agree: I have some of those too. They are well made and should last a long time.

Here's a question that doesn't deserve its own thread, apologies to the OP for the tangent: does vinyl have to be stored perfectly vertical, or is vertical-ish enough? Looking at this boxes, if they were jammed full, you pretty much would not be able to browse through them at all. But if they could lean a bit, they would be much easier to flip through.

When I was growing up we used to store our records in these thick, square plastic milk bottle carton thingies. They were red, and the perfect size for albums. We used to, um, liberate them from the back of a nearby bottling plant. At one point, I think when bags of milk (as opposed to bottles & cartons) began to predominate, they changed the dimensions of these cartons slightly. But albums no longer fit the new cases, and there was something like a panic among us teenage record fanatics, it was like these cases instantly became "rare collector's items". I've still got a half-dozen of them and they still store albums (overflow). Sorry for the wordiness of the post but when I read the title I immediately thought of these cartons, they're perfect (except for the fact that they have no lids and have crosshatched bottoms I guess - but this way the records get to breathe :) )

Thanks Jay. This is what I need too to keep my vinyls from dust.

Can you stack them on top of each other?

I just ordered two of the plastic corrugated boxes from bagsunlimited, along with a bunch of other cool stuff. This is like, the best site ever for music collectors. :righton:

I've gone 4 high. The only problem at that height is the stack gets a little wobbly.
