I didn't see it, but I'm curious -- was it "The Early Years" on the Big Ear Music label? I still don't know what the deal is with that CD.

I believe that that was the title Patrick. So you've heard of it?! ;) It was where you presently see The Final Fantasy sound track album.

That's easy to find, Dave! It's called: Jimi Hendrix: The Early Years.

Just go to the main DCC website:
http://www.dcccompactclassics.com/

and click on "Home" in the navagation bar. It (I believe) takes you back to the "previous month's" releases.

Now, I'd LOVE to know if it was actually printed because I have never ever :( seen it. There is no description when you click on the item....... Does anyone know anything about this CD?

Don't get too excited. I've seen them around. I think the content is the same as "Woke Up This Morning and Found Myself Dead." See:

You can also find the "DCC" CD on allmusic.com.

I don't think Steve had anything to do with this and I'm assuming "Big Ear" is a subsidiary of DCC. The DCC address is on the CD.

I've seen copies at the store with the Big Ear logo and copies with the DCC logo. Otherwise, they looked identical. I'm not sure what the story is with this release, but I would guess Steve doesn't have any involvement in it, because the source tapes of this show are crap that no one could make sound good.
