Sherwood S-5000 vs S-5000 II

I'm told these are some gems. My question, is the S-5000 orginal better sounding than the S-5000 II or vice versa?
Can anyone tell me what differences that are involved in the two models.
If you had the choice which model would you get if they were the same price and same condition?

Never heard either, but if I was choosing blind I'd go for the 7591 amp.
