I subscribed to TAS and Stereophile through Amazon. I thought the $20 and $12/yr price, respectively, was pretty good. I guess I should have read the fine print. When I stopped receiving TAS 6 months after I subscribed I sent an email to support and received reply below.
I was a bit surprised because the Amazon page for TAS stated (and still states):
>Issues: 6 issues / 12 months
Which would lead one to believe that it's published every two months and you get all the issues that are published in a year.
I find it confusing, if not downright misleading. They should be clearer that it's a 6 month / 6 issues subscription.
I also have not received the latest 2 issues of Stereophile.
Bottom line: make sure you double check when you subscribe through 3rd party services that you are going to get a full year. If the price sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
