i own a cav-50, which i've been very pleased with.
CONSIDERING the rogue cronus mainly due to just switching to rogue stealth phono pre (it's been modded up the ladder a good bit, too).
the cronus retails for 1800 and there's one mint "out there" for 1300.
the cav-50 retailed for 2450 and goes now for around 12-1400 used . . . i think the power ratings are 35 for the c/j and 50/per for the rogue.
i guess what tempts me most is: matching makes for amp and phono section; and the fact that the cronus is practially brand new, while my cav-50 is prb at least 6-7 yrs. old.
the chances of me hearing the two side by side (w/o buying) are practically nil, so thought i'd see if anyone had thoughts . . . or maybe i should just take a cold shower!!!:winkgrin:
