Sly in QUAD

I just picked up the quad LP of Sly & The Family Stone's Greatest hits. I have to say that this is the first time I heard Sly in quad played back on two channel stereo and i'm impressed by what could be if they could just get this stuff mixed to even stereo! The LP, while not totally perfect, sounds great.

Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to get transfered to Cd-R?

Just do an online search using "Quad Transfer" or "quad to cd conversion" (or a variation thereof) to find those capable of doing this kind of work! I found this one that way:

I know that Sckott also had an individual, who he'd mentioned in numerous postings, who also can transfer Quad to CD. Check the back postings, or maybe Sckott can repost the info again.

Lastly, if you plan on getting into buying a lot of Quad material...just invest in a Quad amplifier (I've seen 'em at Thrift Stores) to do your own Quad down to Stereo transfer...then over to a sound card to burn a CD.
