Has anyone seen this, and is it a worthy purchase? Was shocked to see it in a store the other day......I knew nothing about it's existence. I'm a Grey Gardens fan. Just wondering if there's anything substantial on this leftover footage. I see it can be bought as a 2-pack with Grey Gardens as well...

Saw this over the weekend, and it's nearly as good as the original film. All the footage is from the same time. There's a fire in the house.....there's a great scene where Edie goes down to the beach.....you even get an update on the gardener boy, Jerry, in the director's commentary section. Great. :thumbsup:

I just saw this last week as well. If you like the first film, you'll enjoy the sequel too.

Are you talking about the Maysles brothers' documentary, or is there a film based on the recent play?

The Beales of Grey Gardens is made up of additional footage from the Maysles brothers' first documentary on the subjects.

Thinking about getting the double set. How's the extras? Any commentaries?

The first film includes a commentary and deleted scenes. The second has just an introduction/update segment.
