Hi There,
Just wondered if anyone has purchased or heard the Classic Led Zep reissues?
I'm particularly curious about "III" and "Physical Graffiti."
How do they measure up to the CD remasters from 1990?

I think they sound great. I have made cd-r's of all of the Classic Zep LP's and have since sold the original 1990 remastered CD's. Others have shared my opinion of them, while still others have disagreed. To me, they have a better bass and more open treble than the remastered CD's.

Hasn't Jimmy Page been preparing a special remastering of a a special CD release of the Fourth Album...with bonus tracks...for release on the album's anniversary of being released ???
I saw this article in RECORD COLLECTOR some time ago about this.
I have all the availble Zep on Classic, they are by far the best I have heard, although the old West German releases are close, and in some instants as good. They are better than the CD reissues without a doubt.
