The FYE store at Lansing Mall is selling (or should I be honest and say dumping?) the Oliver Stone Collection box for $19.99. If you have a store nearby and do not have this set yet, it is a great, great deal in my opinion.

I found the same thing in a St. Louis FYE for $29.99 a couple weeks back. Looks like I should have held out a little longer.
It is a good deal though, even though I already had 3 of the movies.

Picked this up today at my local FYE for $9.99.
Well technically it was $35.99 with a $26.00 rebate. But I'm patient, don't mind waiting for the rebate to show up.

How to you get the rebate? Do you have to mutilate the packaging?

Unfortunately yes. You have to cut out the bar code and mail it off with the duplicate receipt they give you. The bar code is on the outer slip case, on the upper back. So it's not a discrete cutout. I find that really annoying - I'd think the store's receipt should be adequate proof to their own company that you purchased it.
But for $9.99 I decided it was worth it, in this case. 12 movies, 1 disc of "Oliver Stone's America", and one bonus disc with some stuff from the "Alexander" set and a couple of other documentaries.
I also picked up the X-Men Trilogy box for $9.99...same rebate deal.

How do the transfers look? Are they anamorphic?

I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, sorry. I'm sure one of the other board members who has this box can tell you though.
