Hi,

Thanks for the great new forum (and site). I really like the discography. I have already used it several times.

My question:

Will there be any room at the new label for things like the silver discs that DCC were doing? Things like the Merle Haggard, Nilsson, Marty Robbins, etc.

I would like to see the albums by Crow issued on CD, but I understand that there probably aren't many people interested in them. It seems that there is lots of good music that falls between the cracks and either never got put out on CD, or quickly went out of print.

One Way and Griffin records do a pretty good job, but I think there is still room for more releases of music that is largely ignored.

Is this something that will be done, or are we going to have pretty much an Audiophile Label with mostly very well known artists being released?

While you're at it, put me down for Jethro Tull and RUSH!! So much for the obscure stuff, I guess):o

Thanks a million,

Tony

Hi Tony,

The label was originally formed as a place where artists who no longer were in the mainstream could find an outlet, both with older material and new stuff.

This will still happen (the Johnny Cash, Judy Garland, etc., are just a few scheduled for early spring release), but after touring the CES "high end" sites this year, Bill Straw (owner of Blix Street Records and co partner with Sam) is convinced that the audiophile market is the best to be worked on at the opening stage of the label.

There is room for everything, and your requests are always noted and kept on file!
