When you bought your first CD player, you probably assumed that you were entering a world where everything was perfect. No clicks, pops, hiss or any of the other annoying things that make tapes and LP's less convenient. I'm not, however, going to get into a debate over the merits of CD sound versus Analog LP's, 45's and 78's. My main focus is the quality of the CD sound from one disc to another. I realize some people can't hear any difference between an AM/FM clock radio with one small speaker and a symphony orchestra at Carnegie Hall, but for those of us who have purchased some of our favorite albums on CD, it's nice to have the best quality and not all CD's are the same, even of the same album.
